Registered with North Yorkshire Health Authority for nursing patients, the Ingleborough also has three places for residential patients and three day care places. The care and attention given by the friendly and dedicated staff of the Ingleborough creates a relaxed atmosphere, and the radio nurse call system installed throughout ensures that the team of qualified nurses and trained nursing auxiliaries are always at hand to meet individual needs. Additional medical cover is provided by visiting GP's and other professionals, including a physiotherapist, chiropodist, dentist and optician.
All rooms have TV points and telephones can be installed by arrangement, although there is a payphone available for residents' use. The home is fully furnished, however residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with their own mementos. Their own items of furniture can also sometimes be accommodated. Six separate lounges and a designated smoking lounge allow a variety of views and company.
The Ingleborough has an open visiting policy and friends and family are welcome at any time. A choice of menu is available and pride is taken in the good home cooking; local produce is used wherever possible and special diets are catered for. Residents can choose to eat in the privacy of their own room or socialise in the large, attractive dining room. An in house laundry service is provided, however, relatives can choose to make their own laundry arrangements if preferred. Fees are inclusive of all services and facilities with the exception of dry cleaning and hairdressing. The manager and matron will attempt to resolve any problems encountered by residents or visitors speedily and efficiently and to everyone's satisfaction. However, if this is not possible further action can be taken through the complaints officer of North Yorkshire Health Authority.

Whilst the amenities
of the village are all within a few minutes walk, there are attractive,
secluded gardens to the rear with panoramic view of the beautiful countryside.
One
of the most attractive aspects of the Ingleborough is the individuality
of the rooms, each decorated to a high standard. Bedrooms are spacious,
either double or single
and some include en-suite facilities.
Regular professional entertainment is arranged and our minibus with disabled
access enables all residents to enjoy outings. There are
regular
visits from
hairdressers. We have a comprehensive in house library with
large print books and audiotapes.
